Water Treatment Package Plants
We provide packaged water treatment plant solutions designed to meet a variety of industrial and commercial water treatment requirements.
A complete treatment plant, built in the factory
A package plant is a pre-engineered treatment system that is fabricated, assembled and tested off site, then delivered as one or more skids or containers ready to connect. Compared with a plant built in place, it needs less civil work and less space, and it can be running much sooner.
Package plants suit sites that need treatment capacity quickly, sites with limited space, remote locations, and projects where the capacity may need to move or grow later.
Advantages of a package plant
Compact footprint
Needs less space than a conventional plant of the same capacity.
Less site work
Built and tested in the factory, so installation needs less civil work and less time on site.
Automatic operation
Designed for automatic running, with simple operation and low manpower requirements.
Transportable
Suitable for remote locations, and for permanent or mobile installation.
Sized to the job
Designed to the capacity and treated-water quality your site requires.
Low running demands
Low power use, easy maintenance and quiet, odour-free operation.
Where package plants are used
- Industrial process water
- Commercial buildings and campuses
- Remote and temporary sites
- Camps and construction sites
- Sewage and effluent treatment
- Water recycling and reuse
Depending on the application, a package plant can combine filtration, softening, reverse osmosis and disinfection for water treatment, or biological processes such as MBBR, SBR and FAB for sewage and wastewater. Read more in our technology guide.
Package plant FAQs
What buyers usually ask before a package plant project.
Ask our teamWhat is a package treatment plant?
A package treatment plant is a complete, pre-engineered treatment system that is built and tested in a factory, then delivered as one or more skids or containers ready to connect on site.
What is the difference between skid-mounted and containerised plants?
A skid-mounted plant is built on an open steel frame, usually for installation inside a building. A containerised plant is housed in a shipping-container-style enclosure, so it can stand outdoors and be moved more easily.
Can package plants be used at remote sites?
Yes. Package plants are transportable and suit remote locations such as camps and temporary sites, for permanent or mobile installation.
What do you need to size a package plant?
Your average and peak flow, a source water or wastewater analysis, the treated-water quality or discharge limits you must meet, and the site's location, space, power supply and climate.
What we need to size your plant
The more we know about your water and your site, the more accurate the first proposal will be.
